Orla Kiely for Clarks SS14

You may remember a snap of some beautiful shoes on our Instagram recently, we took advantage of a break in the rain clouds to shoot a Spring shoe post with these stunners!

I absolutely love anything remotely 60's/70's and so the Orla Kiely collection for Clarks really caught my eye! I received these beautiful Orla Marianne shoes in Navy and Cream from Clarks and was a little lost on how to style them for this post in order to do them justice.

In the end I decided to keep the clothes simple with a cream collared shirt dress and let my shoes do all the talking! I teamed them with this red clutch to tie the outfit together with the gorgeous buckle on the shoe. The 5 inch heel on them did alarm me at first (as my nickname is Bambi for my tendency to go toppling over) but the substantial platform, chunky heel, and fabulous Clarks shoe engineering mean that I feel safe and secure in them! I also adore the beautiful Orla print on the sole of the shoe! Just stunning- they are my new favourite pair in my wardrobe!

I can't wait to get more wear out of these as they are so easy to style up or wear down and are great for Spring and Summer!
