We are back! Thank you for excusing us temporarily- we hope that you love our new design as much as we do! We will be bringing reams of fresh content and are working on lots of exciting new projects and collaborations, so stay tuned!
In true PPOMG style, we wanted to come back with a bang, however, we didn't anticipate that we would come back quite so big... with our first awards win from the UK Blog Awards 2015, for Fashion and Retail Individual Blog! We have to give a big shout out to another nominee from our category, Not Dressed As Lamb, who we have been following for well over a year now. We were lucky enough to meet her and her lovely husband, and it was amazing to meet someone who is such an inspiration to us!
More on our hair and make-up later in the week, we felt the best way was to kick off with a fabulous style post, showing you our style for the event.
We knew we wanted to complement each other, but not wear the same thing, so these beautiful Italian dresses from One65 Boutique were perfect- both in classic black with stunning Italian cuts and quality, we felt fabulous, glamourous and ready to celebrate. Felicity chose a demure and draped design (perfectly chic with her blow-out bob), and I (Lauren) went for a fitted, simple shift with feature zips and these fashionable, stylist Clarks courts. The straps and white are so on point for SS15, and they were so comfortable, meaning that dancing the night away in celebration was easy work!
Clarks SS15 is a strap fest, and is perfect for anyone who wants a good quality, on-trend shoe without paying megamega bucks, and is looking for comfort.
Our beautiful bags pulled our black dress outfits together perfectly. Both clutches from the Radley Spring/Summer 2015 collection, Lauren opted for the simple zip design of Golden Square in colour popping orange (so hot for summer!) and Felicity chose the soft grey leather in an oversized style, Mount Street. Radley clutches are such incredible quality, and we love how on trend, yet classic the designs are. With simple, uncomplicated designs, the collection is the perfect, quality investment to see you through season after season.

Love the orange bag. Just what I would choose. You both look great. Lorraine
ReplyDeleteThanks Lorraine, love the stripy top on your recent post - gorgeous! It would suit the orange bag really well :)

Yayyyy thanks lovelies for the mention (you are so sweet, like you wouldn't believe) - but most of all CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm truly, truly so pleased that you won... if it wasn't going to be me (can't say it wouldn't have been nice to have won!) then I would only have wanted you two gorgeous gals to win.
ReplyDeleteSo that's a great big PHEW from me, and don't forget to enjoy it and milk it for all it's worth. And of course you two look the bomb in the pictures but then I saw you, so I knew that already, hehe. Oh and I LOVE the new blog design! Oh and I should have been following you on Bloglovin and am doing that now! Anything else while I'm gabbling on... no, think that's it. MWAH lots of kisses and stuff :)

Catherine! Thank you so much for your lovely message! As you know, we were totally rooting for you the whole way so we were so shocked! Your kind congratulations now, and on the night are so gratefully received! You can have my hair if I can have your figure, and THAT dress please?
DeleteLet us know if you are in London at some point, perhaps we could plan a meetup?
