SHOW Hair Salon Review

To beautiful SHOW Beauty in Notting Hill, where we were treated to blow dry hair-overs before we headed off to the UK Blog Awards 2015.

Blow dry bars are a relatively new, but incredibly fast growing thing in the UK. Stemming from the USA, it is a way to pop in and get a hair-over in under an hour, with a professional stylist wielding a hairdryer and other magical tools to create lock-lustre perfection.

SHOW Beauty in Notting Hill is a rose gold and black marvel. The shiny, mirrored salon is really stunning, and we were made very welcome upon our arrival.

Each station is equipped with an iPad, which allows you to peruse the menu from which you can order champagne, healthy drinks and delicious snacks. Being the girly-girly bloggers that we are, macarons were the order of the day, along with a Spinach and Apple Juice for Felicity and a Strawberry and Apple for Lauren. The iPads also have hours of reading content and e-magazines, but we were too busy harvesting hair-low down and chatting away excitedly!

Our lovely stylists got to work on transforming our limp pony tails and lanky bobs into awards-worthy masterpieces. Lauren opting for a full, wavy blow dry, and Felicity briefing for 'as-big-a-bob-as-possible'. The final results were just what we were looking for!

Our styles were finished with SHOW Decadence Hair Fragrance, perfect for all of the hair swishing we then did.
