Transforming with ASUS

Last weekend we battled the elements and packed up the car for a girly weekend- gin and beauty bags in tow for 3 days of undisturbed shopping, photographing and blogging (not to mention chatting non stop on the road trip down - check out our Instagram to see)!

Our first big stop was The Eden Project for Paolo Nutini at The Eden Sessions- the series of summer concerts held at the beautiful Eden Project. This year the event is headline sponsored by ASUS and after a few exciting emails, we were invited to try out their latest bit of technology- the new ASUS Transformer Book Chi T100. This new release is a stunning little 10.1 inch 2-in-1 tablet-laptop, working perfectly with a keyboard and touch screen for your traditional laptop needs, before detaching to become a tablet - perfect on the go!

We are constantly dashing between work, meetings and events. As our blog grows, we are finding our demand for technology that suits our needs is on the up! On our weekend away, we were able to pack up this little beauty and carry it on the move, without it (or its charger) taking up acres of our valuable space. Here's how we were able to use the Chi T100 for all of our busy blogger needs...

Entertainment

Super slim and with a full HD screen with LED backlighting, we love how easy it is to catch up on our favourite vloggers new videos, check out new tunes (especially Paolo Nutini after the Eden Sessions, swoon!) and manage our photos. Because it is so slim and lightweight, we found the Chi T100 was perfect for long weekends (it'll also be handy on the daily commute for Game of Thrones catch ups...)

Blogging

Blogging as a duo, we utilise our different skills and the T100 Chi really helped the writing/photography balance. We snapped pictures out and about using the tablet and then reconnected the 2-in-1 tablet to the keyboard and huddled in our PJ's to write posts. It was great not to spend ages uploading photos or wondering if you got the right shot. Plus it's handbag sized, so it's great for on-the-go blogging - whether that's a stop in your local café, in bed (sorry, we know it's not a good habit!) or on the train home.

Photographs

With a 5 mega pixel camera and HD webcam, photography is beautiful and dead simple. Detaching the tablet from the keyboard makes it simple to pop away in our handbags and get snap happy. The pictures are then ready for editing and uploading to our social channels and blog - not a cable in sight!

Surfing the web

We admittedly spend a lot of time on the web for inspiration, reading other blogs and, of course, shopping. The Chi T100 is easy to use with its touch screen and keyboard for quick movements across different programmes - from Twitter to Pinterest to browsing. Being so dinky, its ideal for curling up in a quiet spot and spending hours reading our favourite blogs online.
