The Christmas Edit | Home and Food

For the trickier friends and family, home and food gifts always provide a fail safe array of choices. Whilst personal taste can be important, there are a few classics which will always be received with smiles and gracious thanks- we've edited a few of our personal favourites from some brilliant stores which we're sure will do the job perfectly.

A beautiful tin of goodies is a great gift, and I love getting cute tins to collect and reuse throughout the year. This Turkish Delight tin from Debenhams Flowers and Hampers is the perfect stocking filler for any sweetie fan, and this premium tin is ideal to keep for years to come!

Sweet treats will always go down well and are a welcome gift at any festive dinner party as well as a fabulous present for foodie fans. Hotel Chocolat have some stunning products for 2015, and there really is something for everyone. The Festive Wreath combines delicious white chocolate which is studded and encrusted with dried fruit for the ultimate grown up sweet tooth. We can imagine this going down a storm with an Auntie or Grandma who isn't into boozy chocs but still enjoys chocolate. It's also not too late to pick up your festive advent calendars, with this beautiful truffles for two calendar from Hotel Chocolat. It's something we rave about every year, and this year the premium silver box really makes it stand out.

yoshi custard cream
A perfectly cute stocking filler which is good enough to eat, this Yoshi custard cream decoration is the sweetest thing for a friend or family. Made from real leather, its super luxe and a beautiful little gift which could also make an adorable keyring or bag charm too.
monsoon home photoframe christmas decorations
These gold apple tree decorations are just delicious and perfect for any tree or stocking filler. Anything gold and sparkly has really caught Flic's eye this Christmas and she jumped at these little beauties from Monsoon. Also from Monsoon (something we both adored) is this encrusted wood frame, it's elaborate without being OTT and opulent without being gaudy. Photoframes are always such lovely gifts, and this one is really unusual with a gorgeous finish.
oliver bonas champagne saucers
I (Lauren) love a glass of champagne and whilst I have some really gorgeous flutes at home, I've been desperate to get my hands on some saucers for a while now. These art deco 1920's style glasses look like something from the set of the Great Gatsby - utterly beautiful. In a box of four from Oliver Bonas, they are the perfect gift for someone you know who enjoys their fizz and the finer things in life.
getting personal dressing box
For the man or woman who has everything, this dressing box is a beautiful gift from Gettingpersonal.co.uk. The onyx dark wood box can be personalised with any message, numbers, initials or dates. The finish on the box and the ivory felt lining makes it super luxe; we can't wait for someone to unwrap one of these!
getting personal i do mugs
Finally, mugs are always welcome in our house, and there is a slogan or printed mug out there for everyone. Flic adored this pair of I Do mugs from Gettingpersonal.co.uk as it is the perfect gift for lots of our friends and family members at the moment who are all engaged or newlyweds!
