Travel | A Roman Holiday Part 2

We got up bright and early on Sunday and went to the market in Campo di Fiori to pick up a few stocking fillers (which felt stupid and weird in 20c heat, but whatever) and lust over the beautiful food and flowers. What is it about fresh produce and bouquets in Europe that just seem to trump UK offerings every single time?

After that we skipped off to our second breakfast at Coromandel (see, told you we were obsessed) and walked through the completely breathtaking Piazza Venezia to the Mercato Monti, a vintage market around half an hour away from our apartment.coromandel rome italy

The market was nice to browse around but neither of us saw anything amazingly exciting for us (a good few designer pieces for good prices, but all in bigger sizes than we needed). Sorry to disappoint! Frowns upside-down though, because there were plenty of vintage shops around and we had a bit of a spend up.

Felicity found an uh-maze-ing YSL jacket in hot pink but decided it didn’t fit quite right - on Lauren? A perfect fit, and love at first sight. The price - get ready to gasp - 60 euros. Perfect condition. Swoon! Lauren took it out for its first outing last Wednesday at the Pandora Wishes party...

After um-ing and ahh-ing for a million years (sorry L), Felicity settled on a vintage camera bag for just 20 euros (pictures coming soon!). A hand stitched little cutie, it's a little stained in places, but was so charming we couldn’t leave it behind!
