All is Bright | A Boden Christmas

If you're a long time reader, you know how much we love Boden already - so we had to dedicate a post on its own to our most recent picks of their winter/Christmas collection! It's that good. If you haven't already checked it out, you may just want to. Or not. You'll end up treating yourself. Always dangerous.

THE SILK PYJAMAS

As a duo we naturally tend to gravitate to the same things, so there was no hiding these silk pyjamas in navy and pink. With contrasting piping and in a chic spot print, they're gorgeous all year round (but there's nothing quite so special as pretty new PJs at Christmas).

We'll be wearing them on Christmas day, teamed with the slippers below - yeah spoiler alert, slippers! - and a contrasting polish on our toes. All the party feet/feels!

THE PARTY DRESS

L: Spotted at the Christmas press day, this dress is perfection. A twist from the usual black party dress (which I'll still be donning at some point!) the gorgeous shades and large florals of this dress are super eye catching and make it stand out from the crowd. More to the point, it is super flattering and comfortable- double ticks for the Christmas Party. The 'sign on the dotted line' moment for me was the name of the design 'Robyn Dress', and Robyn being my middle name, I couldn't resist- it was fate!

CHRISTMAS CUPS

L: You may have spied a Kate Spade seasonal travel mug on our Instagram feed a month back which confirmed that we are fully into hot drink and cutesy mug season. The great news is that Boden also have some top notch seasonal travel mugs which are just the ticket for festive drink lovers- make mine a peppermint hot chocolate please!

WRAP UP WARM

F: Whilst Lauren opted for a perfect party dress, I pulled on my practical hat (my least favourite hat, but needed nonetheless) and chose a cosy coat instead. Ok yes I went SUPER practical because snow is real and this Winderemere puffa is insanely warm - I love the faux fur around the hood and signature beautiful Boden lining. I'll be wearing with - well, let's face it - everything I own until the mercury creeps back up around April. Whilst that's a sad thought, this coat surely isn't. In fact, I may need to be surgically removed from it. It's my new best friend (sorry hub).

ALL IS CALM, ALL IS BRIGHT

F: We first spotted this cushion at the Boden Christmas preview (you can spy our instagram post here) so this was a no brainer. And it's huge! For the money it's such a steal - we love both sides, one for calm (ok so that's more Lauren with it's cool neutrals) and one for bright (Yep, Flic loves a bright - fairy lights and tinsel all the way)! We're going to be putting it on the sofa day to day and at the weekend place it pride of place on the bed (or perhaps in the guest bedroom for the lucky xmas gifts). Please Boden, more homeware! 🙏

THE PRETTIEST SLIPPERS

You may remember the gorgeous fluffy pom pom slippers Boden did last year - well pom poms are out (joke they're not out, we love you, come back!) and bows are oh-so in.

We love love loved the names of the colour ways we chose (Shale Grey + English China and Milkshake + Ivory, I mean how darling?) and honestly we want another pair each already. Make our spare pairs Honeycomb and Navy, please.
