V Festival Countdown | 8 Days to Go! Our Festival Beauty Bag

Luckily one of the biggest make up trends gracing the catwalks for SS14 was barefaced beauty which is perfect for festivals as it is super easy to achieve with a few basic beauty bag saviours!
Our favourite for perfect coverage is Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream, £29. This genius buy isn't heavy, it's easy to apply (no concern about foundation lines!) and helps to give you an even skin tone, along with precious SPF 30 for when you're catching the rays between tunes. Top this off with a sweep of honey-toned bronzer such as The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder, £13 to achieve a festival perfect glow. Finish the look off with a tinted lipbalm like Vaseline Limited Edition No 3 Paint The Town Red Lip Tint, £3.49 to keep your lips moisturised and looking lovely - perfect for singing your heart out!

For something a little more dramatic, channel the SS14 trends for the perfect festival touches. Whilst a tent and a handheld mirror may not be ideal for a full make over, a nod to the latest trends will ensure you draw attention to your fabulous look with the help of some clever products...
Why not try adding a dash of retro in the form of blue and purple eye colour such as Gosh Forever Eyeshadow in Plum, £5.99 (very Burberry AW14) or Barry M Waterproof Gel Eyeliner in Bright Blue, £5.49 for Marc Jacobs SS14 chic? At festivals you can really afford to be bold with colour - try it both below and above the eye for a full on dramatic colour pop- tres 90's and on trend for V!

For those wanting to keep it simple, try graphic eyeliner and big fat lashes - they were everywhere for SS14. This is super easy to achieve - try bold eyes by drawing a line across the lash line and flicking upwards at the corner of the eye. Then draw a line following straight up from the lashline and draw in the third line to make a small triangle, and carefully fill this in. We love Wild About Beauty Line & Define Liner Pen, £14.50, which gives you great control over the line and has festival staying power. Top this off with big dolly lashes paying attention to both the top and bottom lashes with a volumising mascara - Benefit BadGalLash Mascara, £19.50 ticks the boxes for brilliant eyes.
A must have that can't go amiss are a good makeup setting spray- our favourite is the tried and tested Urbay Decay All Nighter Make Up Setting Spray, £20 which is guaranteed to ensure your makeup stays put so you can party the night away free from smudgy makeup worries.
To remove all makeup at the end of the night, we stand by our trusty favourite - Simple Skincare Kind to Skin makeup wipes in this handy travel pack size, £1.32. They are guaranteed to budge the most stubborn make up whilst cleansing and refreshing your skin. You mustn't forget your locks, and we always rely on Bastiste Dry Shampoo On The Go Tropical, £1.50 which is yummy coconut scented to ensure your hair stays looking and smelling festival fresh!
