We were incredibly fortunate to be invited to preview the
Louis Vuitton Series 3 Exhibition before it opened yesterday, and on Saturday walked to 180 Strand (after a stop for Scoop gelato, naturally) to be immersed in the beautiful quality and heritage of Louis Vuitton.
The experience from start to finish was a total delight. The emphasis throughout was on a brand with incredible history and artisan attention to detail in process and progress; there was an essence of fun and highlights of imperfection, unlike the experience on catwalks and in stores. Our guide, who has helped to curate the exhibition, explained that the Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquiere wanted to bring the show to everyone; to democratise it and make it an accessible and immersive art for all to enjoy.
We won't spoil it for you, because it's free to go, so really you have absolutely no excuse not to attend between now and October 18th. You can walk through each section at your leisure, and really connect with Vuitton and each part of the process that has gone into their past, present and future.
It was an experience for the senses, so pictures won't do it justice. It's the must-see exhibition of the season, and we're taking everyone back before it closes mid October. Prepare to fall in LoVe like never before... Don't forget to share with #LVseries3!
