Oh summer! How we have missed thee!

After life/work/weddings/houses took over meaning a lot less time for photographing together for the blog, eating cake/drinking earl grey and just general hanging out, we decided to schedule in some time for all of these things. In a bid to escape our usual cityscape backdrop, we headed off to Brighton, close and familiar territory for both of us in one way or another, but strangely absent from PPOMG in the last 4 years.

We scored a lucky sunny Saturday and headed down to the beach in our glorious new garms and enjoyed the sunshine and sea, despite the odd ominous cloud! Boden's Spring/Summer collection does not disappoint, with stunning vibrant colours and loose and floaty fabrics.

This Dolly Dress is perfect teamed with heels or flats- perfect for summer holidays as it suits wearing on the plane (no creasing!), to being dressed up with wedges for dinner, or with sandals and a big hat to keep the sun off when it heats up.

We also adored the Freida flats. Comfy as anything, and still digging those lace up vibes which have continued through from last year. Perfect when teamed with dungas and a fun striped tee, like this off the shoulder style from Boden- ideal for summer and a great twist on the traditional tee!
