The Weekend Edit | May Wishlist

We can't believe it's May already! Where has the time gone 2016... in the midst of wedding planning and job changes (!) we've been busy busy bees. Of course this doesn't stop us lusting after  e v e r y t h i n g  for spring/summer. Here are our absolute favourites this month...
Print | Hat | Dress | Espadrilles | Bangle

THE PRINT

Let's start off with this amazing Etsy print. Postage is a little toppy for us UK readers, but for a print it's so reasonable. It comes in two colourways (the second is downloadable, no postage there) but typically I love the pink. Now I just need a house to hang it in...

THE HAT

Next up the hat. That hat! It is so beautiful, right? Such a good high street hit. Good old ASOS. I love the beautiful Eugenia Kim originals of course, but for a fraction of the price, how could you not? A summer holiday essential... aaand I've already bought it. Couldn't resist.

THE DRESS

Then the little green dress. I know I'm not the only one gaga for ruffles and the pea green hue is a perfect spring/summer crossover. I'll pair with a denim jacket when it cools in the evening, and with those pretty little ditty sandals in the day. Which brings me to...

THE ESPADRILLES

Cut out lace - such a gorgeous trend we're loving this season! I'm ready for summer shoes - sandals with tassels and pom poms, bright heels and not a boot in sight. I'm feeling those vibes! I am always up for a little extra here and there and a great lover of unexpected details, so these just fit the bill perfectly. Tory Burch is a little out of my budget, but I'm still lusting!

THE BANGLE

Last, the gorgeous bangle from Kenneth Jay Lane. I like that this is kinda bamboo style but will all the gilt of gold. It's a stellar bargain - I'm hoping it might appear on my birthday next month, but I may well treat myself. Watch this space...!

Pizza Board | Playsuit | Heeled Sandals | Bookends | Clutch

THE KITCHEN ESSENTIAL

Okapi Home is defintely worth a little browse if you haven't seen it before. Similarly to our friends at Postcards Home, Okapi specialises in curating beautifully authentic and handmade products from all corners of the planet, and paying fairly for them. This Marble and Mango wood pizza board is truly gorgeous and perfecy for serving up delicious breads and pizzas for alfresco dining this summer!

THE PLAYSUIT

Playsuits are my staple when I'm abroad for no fuss comfy clothes. This khaki playsuit is perfect for summer with the drawstring waist and light fabric. Dressed up with wedges or heels, teamed with comfy sneakers or sandals, this will probably be the most versatile summer piece ever.

THE HEELED SANDALS

Despite only being able to wear from May-September, my summer shoe collection is far more extensive and carefully curated than my winter one (boots boots boots). I seem to have something for every colour or occasion required. This summer, these Jones Bootmaker sandals have caught my eye- again for their versatility, but also because they are super comfy, something which never goes amiss when commuting in London in the summer.

THE BOOKENDS

Being engaged has definitely made me a little nutty for gorgeous 'togetherness' homeware pieces. Matching mugs, coasts and photoframes everywhere are often met with growly looks from the Mr. I'm the one with the extensive book collection though, and these You & Me ones are so darling, I don't think I'll be able to resist them for our new house (when it comes).

THE CLUTCH

I don't think I'll ever not be a bee, I've collected too many bee motif things, and this clutch is too adorable. I adore the honeycomb detailing on it, and it's sturdiness is perfect for even the clumsiest bees like me!

What are you wishing for in May? We've also decided that permanent sunshine wouldn't go amiss!
