I've picked four fabulous hair and makeup looks and teamed them with products which you can buy today to be fashion forward right away!
Temperley gave a fabulous and do-able colour pop to graphic eyes to accompany their wonderful shades for the AW season, teamed with simple classic side braids to ensure all attention rested on those eyes!
To recreate the colourful eye (they used blue facepaint for drama!), grab yourself a coloured liquid eyeliner or eye pencil. Create a base with a nude brown palette, the Urban Decay Naked 3 has some great simple shades! Starting halfway across the eyelid line, focus on the outer corner of the lid and create a strong, thick flick. A fabulous long lasting and easy control eyeliner for the job is Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner which comes in endless choices of shades, a flick of Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil on the bottom lid adds a different dimension too! The final and most important rule is no mascara... this is all about the eyeliner!
Grace added meaning to the plait by making it blunt and tight and pairing it with a gorgeous red lip and fluttery lashes.
This is so easy and wearable! Teamed with a red lip such as Gosh Long Lasting Lip Marker in Red 2, this look is perfect for office to party wear! To recreate this hair style, use ghd Brushes tail comb to help you to create the perfect dead-centre parting. Secure your tight braid with Superdrug Poly Hairbands Clear x50. Don't forget to use ghd straight and smooth spray for normal/fine hair before blow drying to keep this look super sleek.
Burberry have easy hair sorted with this 'fresh out of bed and undone' style. Mid-purple hues on the lips and sweeps of mauve and dark lilacs on the lips look fantastic and perfect for a sultry autumn look- how fabulous does Cara look?
Burberry Beauty have just launched a store in Covent Garden- well worth a visit if you are nearby. If not, then it is easy to recreate this look! The wonderful No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow Duo in Iridescent Purple gives you a lighter lilac shade to highlight across the lid and sweeping up to the brow line, and then a darker plummy shade can be used with a thick eyeshadow brush across and below the line to create dark smokiness. Keep the brows thick and full with Benefit brows-a-go-go and keep the lips in tune with a slick of Revlon Matte Lipstick in Mauve it Over.
Antonio Beradi had to be one of my absolute faves in terms of beauty. Dark green eyeliner, green nails and beachy waves. Need I say any more?
I adore this undone look which has attitude and is SUPER easy to achieve. Perfect for the weekend and in my favourite shade- green. Eyes can be easily achieved by circling completely with a dark green eyeliner such as Revlon Photoready Kajal Eyeliner in Emerald Empire - lashings of mascara compulsory. Team this with stunning and long lasting Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Rampage for eye-nail pairing from heaven. Finish the look off with Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz Sea Salt Spray applied to air-dried hair scrunched occasionally whilst drying to achieve sexy, beachy waves full of nonchalant attitude.
There were definitely some super wearable trends which is what we love to see, as for us it's all about how fashion translates for the everyday gal on the street. We hope that we have given you the inspiration and the tools to try out some of these trends yourself- we would love to see how you get on!
