Shooting in early October, we were well prepared for tights and boots with coats on, trembling whilst the shutter closed and shivering in between shots...! However, a glorious afternoon in Bloomsbury left us donning bare legs and little skirts whilst we enjoyed the last dregs of sunshine before the inevitable big freeze.
The occasion? A truly British shoot with new bags from
Yoshi, lovely leather bags made in the UK. As usual, we both opted for coordinating but not matchy matchy styles (how us!), and I (Lauren) chose Parsons, a boxy buttery-tan leather satchel, whilst Flic chose Jenner, a mini navy buckle bag. We were really astounded by the quality of the leather, smooth and soft, the stitching was perfect and the finish smooth.
The brand itself combines Japanese culture and Britsh quality, with over 40 years experience behind the creation of these beautiful pieces.
Styling was kept simple and classic, Flic opting for denim and leopard print (key for AW15!) with little red heels to strike against the navy. My dress was unearthed in her recent wardrobe overhaul; a vintage Etsy purchase which was bought two years ago but never worn, I finally bought the right slip and took it on an outing. How stunning is the handmade devore design?!
